This program aims to raise participants' awareness of imagery and contemporary creation, develop their skills in analyzing works of art, and encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and artistic creativity. These are the main objectives of this program.

23.10-27.10.2024 / Explore a territory, tell a story, convey emotions: from capturing images to creating a photographic series.
With Sonia Seraidarian & Denis Darzaq, in partnership with Oeildeep.

This workshop invites participants to explore and express a personal and sensitive perspective on the world through the stories around us. Under the supervision of Sonia Seraidarian and Denis Darzaq, participants will create a personal photographic series, depending on the opportunities offered by Marrakech and their individual goals. The program will include daily editing sessions, discussions with professionals, and independent shooting. The objective is to translate not only what one sees but also what one feels, developing a unique photographic writing style. Emphasis will be placed on the search for meaning, coherence, and dialogue between images. Each participant will receive personalized feedback to refine their work. At the end of the workshop, they will be prepared to present their photographic series coherently, both formally and in content. These creations will be exhibited as a slideshow or exhibition during the Marrakech Photography Meetings, from October 23 to 27, 2024.

In the age of selfies, "Art of You" is a citizen initiative that questions self-image through the gaze of others. In large format and in public spaces, direct eye contact and faces displaying confidence will be exhibited. It is a participatory process that allows residents to engage in the project.
